Waiting = Declining

What ever your goal is, if you are waiting to make the change in your routine or behaviors, the chance of you declining is high. You may reduce speed, strength, injury resistance, conditioning, leanness. Or better yet, the longer you wait the longer it will take you to get where you want to be then you risk frustration and rushing your goal later which could lead to further frustration or injury.

Some goals take longer than a year so if you delay progress in one year or season of training, your projection of 2 years from now may turn into falling short on your log term goal. Start small, set goals to achieve soon, if not all the time. Something you can do today to help your tomorrow.

Watch what happens. First you will notice others challenging you. Then many will ask what you are doing to do so well. Next many will join you. Finally you will see the frustration in those that never did. Mark my words………

Sat Oct 5th from 9-2pm is another chance to come try the STC. We want everyone to get in that hasn’t. Tell your friends and anyone you can thing of that may want to get in yet.

Wellness Festival

Oct 26 12-4 will Washington Square’s Wellness Festival. A lot of healthy fun for all ages! Trick or Treating, Games, Face Painting, Kids Hair Cuts, Raffles, Wine Tasting, Specials and much more! Mark the date!!!

Rentals @ TFP

Rentals can be done of TFP. This means you get use of the facility but without coaching

STC Swim Lane-times will be posted on the Registration page. $15 per person per hour.

Compu Trainer-options are when CT or Yoga is not happening and when staff is at TFP, which is most of the other hours. Email Matt to reserve a rental. $15 per person per hour

Treadmill-options for a treadmill on that not so nice day outside/you want to hit those pace intervals and when PT clients are not using the treadmills. Email Matt to request a time. $10 per person per hour

-Massage Therapist–looking for someone that understands how to manage the demands an athlete has on their bodies—need 1

-Sport Psychologist-looking to add a resource to athletes to help them handle the mental piece

-Physical Therapist-looking to add a resource to athletes to understand how to care for the body and steps to get back
