I-Tri

For those "trying the tri" for the first time, or hoping to improve sprint distance times, we offer the I-Tri program for beginners. The 2008 program is modified to provide more one on one attention from different coaches, and will help teach beginner triathletes to use equipment and incorporate systematic weekly training with a goal race in mind. The program will:

focus on training distances for a sprint distance triathlon (.5 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run).

meet once a week for a group workout and provide a training plan with weekly workout suggestions.

Requirements: Have some fitness background and be injury free; be willing to improve ability in swim, bike and run.

II-Tri

Formerly "Triathlon Training" (TT), the 2008 program will teach more advanced athletes how to handle high intensity along with some of the finer points of triathlon race strategy.. Triathlons are as much a mental as a physical challenge, and this program will be designed to push your limits! The program will:
- training distances will focus on sprint, olympic, or half Ironman distances.
- meet once a week for a group workout and provide a training plan with weekly workout suggestions depending on goal distance.
- Requirements: Triathlon experience - sprint distance past performance of 1hr 40min or better suggested; must have a road bike, be injury free, and be able to swim 1500 meters, bike 30 miles, and run 7 miles.
